Christopher Leadership Course in Effective Speaking
The Christopher Leadership Course provides a welcoming and supportive environment where you will build strong leadership skills and learn to overcome your fear of standing up in front of a group to speak.  The 10-week course is a powerful asset and confidence-builder, and will be offered in our parish hall on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. beginning April 14th.  For more information or to register, please visit www.clchamilton.com or speak with our music director, Dwayne Cahill, who is also one of the course instructors.

First Eucharist Celebrations
Congratulations to all of our First Eucharist candidates who will celebrate their reception of Holy Communion in the upcoming weeks.  Please remember these children and their families in prayer.

Christ is Risen! Alleluia!
The Church is now celebrating its joy in the Risen Lord Jesus.  As we sing our “Alleluia” let us ask the Lord to increase our faith, hope and love. Christ is truly our hope and our pattern of risen life.
At the Easter Vigil, we welcomed new Catholics through Baptism and their reception into the full Communion of the Catholic Church.
Many people helped to make the Lenten, Holy Week and Easter celebrations such great occasions of faith.  Among those for whom we are all grateful, we recognize Dwayne Cahill and choir members for enriching our prayer with the gift of song.
Parish ministers, office staff and maintenance also work very hard during these weeks.
Thanks also to all the Ministers of Hospitality, Holy Communion, Lectors and Servers.
May the joy of this Easter Season fill your hearts and homes with the love of God made visible in Jesus Christ.

Summer Bible Camp
We are looking for adult volunteers to assist in the planning and teaching of our Summer Bible Camp which will run from 9:00 a.m. to Noon on August 10th to 14th.  This is a great opportunity for those who have an interest in teaching to have a positive experience both planning and teaching children (grades 1-4)
Please contact Shari Whaley at swhaley@saintmatthew.ca if you are interested in helping with this exciting camp. More details concerning the camp will follow and registration will take place Sunday, April 26th after morning Masses.
