A new 8 week session starts September 22nd 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday for 8 weeks, followed by a winter and spring session.

Celebrate God’s most precious Gift of Human Life
by attending the Respect Life Mass at
Mary Mother of God Church, Oakville
on Respect Life Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the 11:00 am Mass. Immediately after Mass join in theFamily BBQ Fundraiser outside the
Church to raise funds for Halton Pro-Life.
After the BBQ everyone is encouraged to attend Oakville’s Life Chain at the
corner of Dundas and Trafalgar Roads from 2:30 pm– 3:30 pm for a silent witness to respect life.

Development and Peace
Helping Flood Victims in Pakistan
Heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan have caused devastating floods in several parts of the country. The Government of Pakistan estimates that 13.8 million people have bee affected and the situation is expected to worsen as the waters of the Indus River continue to swell. Development and Peace will be accepting donations from Canadians to further help with this emergency response. Donations can be made by telephone (1 888 664-3387), the website www.devp.org or by sending a cheque made out to Development and Peace, 1425 René-Lévesque Blvd. West, 3rd Floor, Montreal, Quebec. CWL Welcome Back Meeting - Sunday September 12th
We would like to invite all CWL members to our Welcome Back Meeting on Sunday, September 12th after the 12 noon Mass (approximately 1 p.m.) We will be providing a light lunch with tea provided by Charles Tea. Charles Tea is owned by a parishioner, Stefan Atton, who will be attending our meeting with a tea master to share information about teas and to show us how to make an exceptional cup of tea. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex for this event this weekend. Please make sure to sign up for this as we need to know the number attending to order lunch and to be able to provides enough tea for all. See you there!!

CWL Pilgrimage to the Martyr’s Shrine in Midland - Saturday, September 25

The CWL is organizing a pilgrimage to The Martyr’s Shrine on Saturday, September 25. There will be a 56 seat air conditioned coach to and from Midland with lunch provided.
Price - $40.00/per person for CWL members
$45.00/per person for spouses & non-CWL
(Lunch and admission fee included)
Time - depart Saint Matthew at 9:00 a.m.
Return at 5:00 p.m.
Tickets on sale after all masses on the weekends of September 4/5 and September 11/12
