“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.
And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind,
and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.
Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them,
and a tongue rested on each of them.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit
and began to speak in other languages,
as the Spirit gave them ability.”
Acts 2.1-4

1.How do I know whether I live in your parish?
If you live in Oakville, north of the QEW, between 14 Mile Creek and 16 Mile Creek and South of Lower BaseLine Road, then you live within the territory of our parish. We are also happy to welcome families and individuals who live outside our parish territory and chose to become members. In both cases you may “register” with our parish.

2.How do I “register” with the parish?

You may pick up and complete a registration form after Mass on Sunday. The forms are available on the Welcome Table in the Narthex (gathering area) of the Church. Registration with one of our parish schools does not mean that you are registered with our parish.

3.How do I ask for the celebration of Baptism or Marriage?
Requests for baptism and marriage are gladly received from members of our parish community. You may contact our parish office by telephone or in person. We will make arrangements to assist you in the preparation for both these Sacraments and offer you the necessary support services to assist in your planning of these celebrations. Requests from “non-parishioners” are also considered. Additional requirements will include a letter of permission from your parish priest.

4.Can I have my house blessed?
House blessings can be arranged by contacting our parish office. Often it is appropriate to gather the immediate family for the blessing celebration.

5.Do you have any children’s programs?
On Sunday mornings we offer Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 10:30 a.m. Mass. These are cooperative programs. Parents are expected to take their turn in offering the program.

6.How do I become a Roman Catholic?

Adults who wish to become Roman Catholics may contact the parish office directly. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process of coming to know and believe in God and celebrating this faith in our Christian community.

If you have other questions please feel free to email them to us.
