Sacraments

Baptism: Baptisms are celebrated with children whose parents are members of our faith community. Baptismal preparation is provided for first time parents. Please contact our parish office for further information and baptismal dates.

First Reconciliation & First Eucharist and Confirmation: These Sacraments are celebrated with children enrolled in our parish elementary schools or children in public or private school who have been enrolled in our parish preparation program. The parish and our schools support parents in their roles as the first teachers of their children in the faith. Registration for these Sacraments happens in October.

Marriage: The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated with members of our parish community at times that are mutually convenient. Christian marriage is always celebrated in the Church and usually on Saturday mornings or afternoon. Preparation is required and provided. Couples are normally asked to make inquiries one year prior to the desired date of marriage.

Sacrament of the Sick: Members of our parish who are ill at home or in hospital may request the Sacrament of the Sick by contacting our parish office. Kindly advise the pastor of any extended stays at hospital or recuperation at home.

Holy Orders: For anyone interested in the priesthood please contact the Vocation Director of the Diocese of Hamilton at http://www.vocationinfo.ca
